In the plastic processing industry, in addition to the host equipment that meets the requirements, a large number of auxiliary equipment such as a central feeding system is often needed to jointly complete various processing procedures, whether it is extrusion, injection, calendering, hollow molding, extrusion board making, film blowing, spinning, etc.
The perfection of the automation and rationalization of auxiliary equipment for plastic processing determine the quality of products and the viability of enterprises to a certain extent. The central feeding system adopts a vacuum transmission method, and the plastic raw materials are transported from the storage tank to the central dehumidification and drying system through a centralized pipeline system, and then the dried raw materials are transported to each production station.
The central feeding system adopts the design method of one machine, one tube to ensure the raw material transportation of the whole system and prevent the raw material from regaining moisture after dehumidification and drying.
The transmission is stable during operation, and there is absolutely no blocking phenomenon.
With the use of the central dehumidification and drying system, after the dehumidification and drying, the materials are sent to the production stations, the conveying pipeline will be cleaned to ensure that there are no residual raw materials in the pipeline, safely avoiding the re-moisture of the raw materials, and ensuring the consistent performance of the raw materials added to the production stations.
Under the action of vacuum negative pressure, the dust in the raw material is filtered out through the dust filter system, which helps to improve the quality of the product. There are many types of Conveyor Equipment, and the commonly used ones are as follows:
- Pipe Chain Conveyor: The equidistant compartment ring on the chain is used to continuously move in the closed pipeline and form a continuous flow transportation.
- Belt Conveyor: The front and back rollers of the belt cover are used to continuously rotate to produce conveying. It is used in a wide range of industries. The belt materials include rubber, PVC, PU, stainless steel mesh... etc., which can meet the needs of all industries.
- Roller Conveyor: It can be divided into powered roller conveyor, unpowered roller conveyor, bull's eye ball conveyor... etc. Basically, they are used in the transportation of finished products.
- Bucket-lift Conveyor: Most of them are used to transport material from ground level to high level. The funnel is hung at a fixed distance through belts or chains hung on the upper and lower rollers, and the material is shoveled one at a time during operation for continuous transportation.
- Screw Conveyor: Commonly known as the twisting dragon. Continuous spiral blades are welded on the central shaft, and then placed in a closed tube. When moving, the material will be transported along with the spiral. This equipment can be transported at any angle, and the steel tube has good high temperature resistance.
- Airflow Conveyor: Common air-flow conveyors can be divided into Two types. The first type is negative pressure conveying, according to the vacuum equipment, the vacuum flow generated will bring the material to the destination, and then use the solid-gas separation equipment to discharge the material unloading air. The second type is positive pressure conveying uses air pressure system generated by a fan to blow the material to the destination, and then uses the cyclone to unload the material and discharge the air.

The use of Storage Barrels is dazzling. It has its existing value and purpose in life in the industry, and we divide it into the production of plastic products industry and the introduction of food industry.
Storage barrels are divided into four categories according to their uses.
- The first category : Light Mobile Storage Tank
Generally limited to 500 kilograms of material storage (mainly moved by humans), it is mainly used for the production of plastic products in batches, 2-3 units are used in alternate to achieve continuous production.
- The second category: Medium Storage Tanks
Generally limited to 500~5000 kg of material storage, it can be used for temporary storage when the workload of the production is high, stand by waiting for the next time it can be re-used in the production line to prevent insufficient supply, and achieve continuous production purposes.
- The third category: Large Storage Barrels
Generally, size range from 10~200㎥ by the volume of the storage tank. These large storage barrels are used in long-term material preparation or central supply and distribution occasions.
- The fourth category: Auxiliary Function Storage Tank
For special purposes, other functions can be added to the storage tank. For example, adding electric heating or hot air to make the raw materials dry, adding mixing blades can make the storage tank more uniform when there are more than two materials, the outer wall of the barrel is equipped with thermal insulation cotton for thermal insulation, the double-layer barrel wall design can be used for heating by the use of oil, or provide cooling function by the use of chilled water...etc and other required functions.
According to customer needs or different material properties, the material of the storage barrel can be divided into iron, aluminum, stainless steel 304, stainless steel 316, special materials... etc. The main purpose is to improve work efficiency, save time and effort, replace manpower, reduce pollution, save space and achieve convenient visual management.
The function of the Dryer Equipment is to remove the moisture in the raw materials, finished products, and semi-finished products, making the materials convenient for manufacturing, packaging, storage, transportation, etc., facilitating subsequent processing and use, and achieving the purpose of improving and increasing the value of the product.
There are two ways to dry the material:
- Provide heat energy to vaporize the water after absorption, and become separated water vapor.
- Try to eliminate water vapor directly.
The methods of providing heat energy include convection, conduction, and radiation. The method of removing water vapor is to use air as a carrier to take away water vapor or use vacuum to directly remove water vapor. Therefore, the basic drying methods include: normal pressure convection, normal pressure conduction, normal pressure radiation, vacuum conduction, and vacuum radiation. In actual engineering, according to different heat energy and heating methods, the drying methods are divided into the following types:
- Air dry
The heated hot air is used to bring heat into the container to transfer the heat to the material. This uses convection to transfer heat to provide heat to the wet material, so that the moisture in the material is vaporized to form water vapor, and the water vapor is taken away to produce a drying effect. This method is widely used in hot air dryers, European standard dryers, dehumidifying dryers, drying ovens, air drying, boiling drying, spray drying...etc.
- Heat Transfer and Drying on Heating Surface
Use the material to contact the heat conduction surface, and then use the air to take away the water vapor to produce a drying effect, such as vacuum dryers, horizontal heating mixing barrels... etc.
- Infrared Drying
Use infrared radiation as a heat source to supply heat. According to the wavelength, it can be divided into near-infrared and far-infrared. In the molecular region of infrared motion frequency, heat can be safely transferred, and it is hygienic and fast in drying. This method is mostly used in vegetables and fruits. , Flowers and wood continuous drying equipment.
- Microwave Drying
Under the action of the microwave magnetic field, the inside and outside of the material are vibrated at the same time, and the vibration energy makes the material heat up, so as to achieve the purpose of vaporizing and removing water. This method has simple equipment, high heat energy utilization, short drying time, and good drying quality. However, the disadvantages are high investment, high power consumption, and leakage of magnetic waves must be prevented.
- Frozen Sublimation and Drying
The material is frozen to the freezing point and the water freezes, and then the ice is directly sublimated into water vapor under a higher vacuum degree and then the water vapor is removed. Because it is dried at low temperature, the original characteristics of the material can be preserved. Therefore, it is used in the health food industry. Various vegetables, fruits, flowers, oils... etc. are widely used.
The Mixer is a machine and equipment that uses mechanical force and gravity to mix two or more materials. It can also increase the surface area of the material contacting the barrel, and accelerate the chemical reaction due to friction, speed, time …etc and accelerate physical changes.
There are two types of mixers if they are classified by mechanism. One is that the barrel is fixed, and there are various rotating stirring rods in the barrel, such as spiral blades, stirring scrapers, stirring fins, stirring shovel, stirring coulter, stirring rake... etc. The second is that the shaft is erected with a torsion rod to be fixed and the barrel rotates.
If classified by material type, mixers can be divided into four categories:
- Thermoplastic Material Mixer
Mainly used for the mixing of thermoplastic materials, plastics, rubber...and additives, powder, granular, flake or solid materials. Most of the products in this part are mixed with spiral lifting materials (Pulian BV series) or The erecting blade rotates along the edge of the barrel wall, pushing part of the material into the center to varying degrees. The other part of the material is thrown out, so that the material on the circumference is constantly updated and diffused. The materials on both sides also merge to the center through the left-hand and right-hand relationship to form a ∞-character staggered cycle, so that the material is The center, the top and bottom are staggered, and the left and right are staggered, so that the materials can be uniformly mixed in a short time, and the mixing effect is the best (Pulian BU series).
This series of mixers are highly adaptable to various materials, and will not produce overheating. They will not grind or crush particles. They will not separate when the particle size is relatively large. It is extremely versatile. Best mixing equipment.
- Gas and Low Viscosity Liquid Mixer
It is characterized by simple structure, no rotating parts, low energy consumption, low maintenance, mainly through medium pressure or high pressure gas spray in the fixed container, so that the material swirls and sprays around the inside of the container, resulting in turbulent mixing effect.
- Medium and High Viscosity Liquid and Paste Mixer
When the stirring shaft is moving and rotating, it must have a strong effect of shearing the material. Continuously cutting or cutting the liquid and paste will cause countless split vortices to force the material to disperse to achieve a uniform mixing effect. If the viscosity of the liquid is not high It can be completed in a shorter time, if the viscosity is too high, a longer mixing time is required.
- Powder, Granular and Liquid Incompatible Mixer
For liquids or solids with different densities and ingredients that are incompatible with each other, the stirring rod must play a shearing effect, violently cut the dense materials into small pieces, and evenly distribute them in the container, and the stirring speed must also be greater than the settling speed of the material , It will not cause the uneven mixing phenomenon due to suspension or precipitation.
